Critical hours after Saudi Arabia refuses to open Sana’a airport

Yemenia Airways announced the failure of its latest efforts to reopen Sana’a Airport after the coalition refused to schedule flights submitted by the company.

Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

In a statement issued by Yemenia Airways in Sana’a, it was stated that the coalition is not serious about opening Sana’a International Airport and continues to keep the airport completely closed, with seats allocated for sale outside Yemen.

The statement from the management of Yemenia Airways indicated that they had sent a schedule of flights to three destinations (Cairo, India, and Jordan) to the coalition to obtain permits for them, but the coalition only approved the Sana’a-Jordan flight, which is a clear circumvention and evasion of opening the airport completely.

The statement emphasized that the patchwork solutions and procrastination adopted by the coalition are useless, and the Yemeni leadership and people will not accept anything except for the complete and comprehensive opening of Sana’a International Airport.

It pointed out that flights and destinations are a right of the Yemeni people, guaranteed by international laws, conventions, and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

The management of Yemenia Airways in Sana’a held the coalition fully responsible for its persistence and obstinacy in preventing the opening of Sana’a Airport.

The attempts to fully open Sana’a Airport were the final efforts before imposing the equation of “airport with airport,” “bank with bank,” and “ports with port,” as announced by the leader of Ansar Allah, Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, Sunday in his warning to Saudi Arabia about the consequences of involvement with America in the war on Yemen, serving the Israeli entity.
