The American news agency “Associated Press” quoted the US Department of Defense as saying that they are aware of the downing of an MQ-9 aircraft in Yemen and are investigating, without providing any further details.

Yesterday, Sana’a’s military media broadcasted footage showing the wreckage of the MQ-9 reconnaissance and combat drone after it was shot down in the skies of Sa’ada province in the north of the country. This marks the seventh of its kind to be downed by Sana’a’s defenses.
