The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Tuesday that the toll of the ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip has risen to 39,929 dead, and 92,240 injured since October 7, October, 2023.
The ministry said in its daily statistical report: “The toll of the Israeli aggression has risen to 39,929 martyrs, and 92,240 injuries since October 7.”
It added that the Israeli army “committed two massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, of which 32 martyrs and 88 injuries reached hospitals in the past 24 hours.”
The ministry pointed out that there were a number of victims “under the rubble and in the streets where ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them,” due to Israeli targeting.
The number of people missing since the start of the U.S.-backed Israel war has exceeded 10,000, according to the latest statistics of the government’s media office in Gaza.
The war continues amid massive destruction and famine that has killed dozens of children in one of the world’s worst humanitarian disasters.
