New child in Gaza every 10 minutes, death toll exceeds fighting, mothers see them as a “means of resistance”
When the war on the Gaza Strip began on October 7, 2023, there were 60,000 pregnant women, and after 10 months of war, all women gave birth, and the Palestinian Ministry of Health recorded the success of about 55,000 births.
“About 40,000 people have been killed in this war,” says one doctor after giving birth to her 55th child, adding that there is no need to worry about the Palestinian offspring, adding that the number of births exceeds the number of those who fell in Israeli military operations.
