As the Israeli occupation prepared to expand the scope of its aggression against Axis countries, Yemen surprised it with a strike to the deep. Will the blow bring the occupation back to its senses or will it stir up its madness?
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
According to American and Western reports, the occupation was gearing up for a major escalation on the northern front, finalizing with the US the last touches on a war plan against Lebanon. Expectations were that the occupation’s operation would commence earlier today, especially with the announcement by the Israeli Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, of completing the necessary preparations for it. It was also anticipated that the operation would be significant, starting with unprecedented aerial and missile escalations. However, following the sudden Yemeni attack, no significant response or daily counter-response has been recorded by the occupation on the northern front.
As for the occupation media, it rushed to promote the differences between Netanyahu and his defense minister once again, a usual attempt to escape a new failure, while reports mentioned an upcoming meeting of the occupation government to determine the situation options in the north, amid Netanyahu’s affirmation of his adherence to the option of resettling the settlers back to their homes in the north.
These facts indicate that the occupation, which was on the brink of escalation towards Lebanon, is now trying to reassess the escalation and its consequences in light of the Yemeni attack and may cancel its plans with the success of the Yemeni forces in striking “Tel Aviv” with a “Supersonic” missile this time. According to experts, it is now realizing the consequences of any risk towards a wide regional war amid reports of its forces’ failure to confront on more than one front.
It is still unclear whether the occupation will move towards further escalation or rearrange its cards internally. However, even Netanyahu’s statement regarding the Yemeni strike confirms that the occupation has effectively exhausted the confrontation option and appears to be the weakest link in the equation, but this doesn’t mean that the occupation will not attempt to regain the deterrence prestige that its forces lost in the latest Yemeni strikes on “Tel Aviv.”
