WHO : Over 118,000 people displaced in Lebanon

The World Health Organization (WHO) said that the health system in Lebanon remains affected and exhausted by the escalation of Zionist violence against it, noting that displaced people are at increased risk of disease.

In a report on Monday, the UN agency said that some 118,466 new displacements occurred from September 23 to 27, as the Zionist enemy continued to carry out air strikes on targets in Beirut and elsewhere in Lebanon.

The report warned that displacement and poor living conditions in shelters are likely to increase the risk of disease.

Since last Monday, the Zionist enemy army has been launching a large-scale attack on Lebanon, dubbed “Northern Arrows,” killing more than 800 people, including children and women, wounding about 3,000 others, and displacing tens of thousands of people.
