In a new escalation of the ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip, Israeli occupation forces targeted a house in Block 3 of the Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central sector, killing nine people and injuring 25 others.
Palestinian sources reported that search and rescue operations are still ongoing to retrieve more victims from under the rubble.
Additionally, 3 citizens were killed and others injured following an Israeli bombardment on tents for displaced people on Al-Sikka Street in the Al-Bureij camp. The injured were taken to Al-Awda Hospital in the Al-Nuseirat camp in central Gaza.
In a related context, another Palestinian was killed and many others injured when an Israeli airstrike that targeted a mosque in the Khirbat Al-Adas area, north of Rafah city in the southern Gaza.
The occupation’s ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in the killing of 41,909 citizens, and the injury of 97,303 others, most of them children and women.
Thousands of victims remain missing; either buried under the rubble or scattered on the roads, as rescue teams face tremendous difficulties in reaching them due to the continued Israeli attacks and the massive amount of debris.
