The spokesman for the Civil Defense in Gaza, Mahmoud Basal, on Sunday, said that the Israeli occupation is seeking to displace the area from the northern part of the Strip and empty the urban areas.
Basal added in a press statement, received by the Palestinian Information Center, that what is happening in Jabalia is ethnic cleansing and the elimination of all the elements of life.
Basal pointed out that the Israeli bombing continues, targeting dozens of homes in Jabalia, Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun, noting that the bodies of dozens of martyrs are under the rubble of homes that were bombed in the north.
The ongoing Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has left more than 141,000 martyrs and wounded, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that has killed dozens of children and elderly people.
