The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor said that the reluctance of the international system to take decisive decisions towards Israel’s massacres in the Gaza Strip, especially in its north, makes it an accomplice in these crimes and represents a green light for the occupation to proceed with the escalation of the crime of genocide, as well as a shocking disregard for the lives and dignity of Palestinians.

The Euro-Med Monitor pointed out in a statement on Saturday that the international system, including the International Criminal Court, the International Court of Justice, the European Union and various United Nations organizations, all failed to achieve the basic goals and principles on which they were based, and showed a shameful failure over the past 13 months in committing to protecting civilians and stopping the crime of genocide committed by Israel against Palestinians in Gaza, which is supposed to be at the heart of its work and raison d’être
