The Palestinian Civil Defense said on Tuesday that many appeals had been received about the presence of citizens alive under houses and residential buildings destroyed by the Israeli army over the past days in the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to genocide and ethnic cleansing for more than a month.

The Civil Defense said in a statement: “Appeals we receive about the presence of citizens alive under the rubble of some homes and residential buildings destroyed by the Israeli occupation on them during the past days in the area of the Beit Lahia project in the northern Gaza Strip.”

He appealed to “international human rights and humanitarian organizations to intervene urgently to allow the arrival of crews and work to save the lives of those under the rubble.”

He also warned of the continued state of “international silence towards Israeli aggression and arrogance, which will lead to the execution of living citizens under the rubble of their destroyed homes,” considering this “a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.”

He continued: “Citizens in the northern areas of the Gaza Strip are subjected to death and Israeli annihilation in silence, while the occupation completely disrupted the work of our crews, confiscated their vehicles and equipment, abandoned them and arrested some of them.”
