The head of the “Supreme Political Council” in Sana’a, Mahdi Al-Mashat, said on Monday that “continued inaction and turning a blind eye to heinous crimes or waiting for solutions from those who are the main supporters of the enemy has grave consequences for everyone,” expressing his hope that “the Arab-Islamic summit will move from a state of speeches and pleas to practical positions.”
Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Al-Mashat emphasized in his message to the summit held in Riyadh that “any inaction in the pivotal Palestinian issue prolongs the life of the usurping entity, posing a strategic threat to all countries in the region,” adding that “the minimum the summit can do is to impose an economic blockade on the enemy, implement a comprehensive boycott, support the choice of the resistant Palestinian people, and open crossings with neighboring Arab countries.”
He pointed out that “Zionist ambitions are clear in their desire for geographical expansion and imposing dominance and influence to become the region’s policeman and leader,” adding that “there is much that our Arab and Islamic countries can do with practical stances to compel the enemy to immediately stop its continued brutality.”
Mahdi Al-Mashat mentioned that “the Yemeni people, who stand in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people in Gaza, express their steadfast position on the Palestinian issue and their full belief in the inevitability of confronting the Zionist entity,” reiterating that “our people stand with the oppressed Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.”
