The government media office in the Gaza Strip announced on Tuesday evening the martyrdom of more than 2,000 Palestinian civilians in the northern Gaza Strip during 38 days of horrific massacres and the ongoing Israeli war of extermination.
The director general of the office, Ismail Al-Thawabta, said that “the continuous Israeli aggression for 38 days on the northern Gaza Strip led to the martyrdom of more than 2,000 civilians, most of them children, women and the elderly.”
He renewed his call on the international community to intervene immediately in order to stop the genocidal war practiced against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, especially the north.
He also blamed the United States, Britain and some European countries for what is happening in the Gaza Strip, who he said were partners in the policy of “starvation and genocide.”
Al-Thawabta accused Israel of misleading the world and the international community with “false maps” about the expansion of humanitarian areas that it claims are “safe” for Palestinians.
