The American forces failed on Wednesday to launch a new aggression against Yemen, coinciding with the withdrawal of the American aircraft carrier from its positions in the Arabian Sea and the repositioning of its battleships in the region.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The US forces are accustomed to responding directly to any Yemeni attack, but despite more than 24 hours passing since the recent wide-ranging assault, no airstrikes have been recorded. This suggests logistical difficulties facing the American forces in launching new attacks.
Navigational sources confirmed the withdrawal of the American aircraft carrier “Abraham Lincoln” from its recent location in the Arabian Sea, indicating that the battleship has begun sailing in the Indian Ocean towards the Pacific.
It also confirmed that it had monitored repositioning of other American battleships in the region, changing their locations and moving as far away as possible from international waters near Yemen, and the most prominent repositioning operations in the Gulf of Aden, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean.
Earlier, Yemeni forces had confirmed targeting the “Lincoln” aircraft carrier fleet, which was expected to be deployed in the Red Sea as a replacement for the previous “Eisenhower,” in addition to other battleships in the Red Sea.
A statement by Yemeni forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree indicated that the recent attacks aimed to thwart a new aggression being prepared by the American forces.
American forces had recently intensified their aggression on Yemen with the repositioning of “Lincoln” in the Arabian Sea, where US fighter jets conducted airstrikes over the past three days targeting areas in the north, central, and western parts of Yemen.
The escalation of American raids is the first since the expulsion of “Eisenhower,” and their sudden halt points to the success of Yemeni forces in thwarting the Americans’ escalation plan.
