The leader of the Ansar Allah movement, Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, said on Thursday that “the most prominent Yemeni operations carried out during the past week targeted the American aircraft carrier “Abraham Lincoln” in the Arabian Sea, causing it to flee after being targeted from hundreds of miles away,” explaining that their recent operations carried out 29 ballistic and winged missiles and a drone.

In his weekly address, Al-Houthi pointed out that “no country in the world has made a decision to target an American aircraft carrier as Yemen did, thanks to God and as a result of the fruits of our people’s faith-based, Quranic, and jihadist orientation.” He clarified that “the American aircraft carrier used to move at times either from the Gulf to the Sea of Oman, the edges of the Indian Ocean, or in the Arabian Sea with stealth and camouflage.”

He stated that “in some cases, the American aircraft carrier moved close to African coasts out of fear of being targeted,” explaining that “since the escape of the American aircraft carrier, which was previously in the Red Sea, the enemy has been avoiding the Red Sea, and the aircraft carrier has not entered it since then.”

The leader of the Ansar Allah affirmed that they carried out the operation targeting the American aircraft carrier “Abraham Lincoln” at a time when the Americans were preparing for the largest aggressive aerial operation against our country on that night since they announced the aggression in which they support the Israeli enemy.”

He added that “the operation the Americans were preparing for failed, and at the same time, they found themselves in a defensive position, with the aircraft carrier fleeing hundreds of miles away,” warning against sending American aircraft carriers to the Red Sea, saying, “If the Americans want to bring the aircraft carrier to the Red Sea, they will bring it closer to be targeted, and if they dare to do so, let them try.”
