The figures contained in the report showed that the occupation army deliberately disrupted the work of this system, which increased the number of victims and missing persons under the rubble of destroyed houses, with the aim of inflicting the greatest number of civilian casualties.

According to the agency specialized in rescue operations, 85 of its crew members have been martyred since the beginning of the war, while the number of injured reached 301, in addition to the arrest of the occupation army 20 others.

Figures show that more than 400 crew members deployed in the Gaza Strip have been killed, injured or arrested, a significant number that has negatively affected rescue operations.

The agency explained that 17 centers and headquarters affiliated with it were destroyed during the war, including 14 completely destroyed and 3 partially destroyed, while the total destroyed and damaged vehicles reached 56 vehicles, including 12 fire and rescue vehicles, two rapid intervention rescue vehicles, 4 water tanker vehicles, eight ambulances, a hydraulic rescue ladder vehicle, and 13 administrative vehicles, which were completely destroyed.

Eleven fire and rescue vehicles, three ambulances and two water tankers were partially destroyed, he said.

The Israeli army directly targeted civil defense centers during the war six times, in addition to targeting crews during field missions 17 times, the agency said.
