Over the past three days, Yemeni support operations for Gaza and Lebanon have escalated to unprecedented levels. Is this the beginning of a new phase or simply preparations for what is being readied?
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
In the last 72 hours, Yemeni operations by land and sea have not ceased, with the Yemeni forces spokesman having to appear twice a day to unveil the latest developments in the operations, whether maritime or terrestrial. The latest of these operations included around four operations executed since Sunday evening, two targeting occupation cities in Ashkelon and Tel Aviv, and two at sea.
These developments come just a day before the first anniversary of the launch of the Yemeni operations in support of Gaza, which began in the Red Sea with naval attacks during which Yemeni forces successfully captured the Israeli ship “Galaxy Leader” and hitting dozens of ships in hundreds of operations carried out almost daily.
According to statistics released by the Israeli occupation, Yemeni forces carried out more than two thousand attacks over the course of a whole year, including missiles and drones even booby-trapped boats.
These attacks targeted more than 210 vessels and battleships linked to the Israeli occupation and its allies. Through these attacks, Yemen tightened the blockade on the occupation not only in its Red Sea ports, which have effectively gone bankrupt with the occupation admitting to laying off its workers, most notably the ports of Eilat, but also expanded to the Mediterranean, where Yemeni forces launched joint attacks on occupation ports and ships that tried to break the siege there.
In the five stages announced over the past year, Yemen revealed missile, drone, and even submarine capabilities that had not been utilized before.
Among the most prominent of these weapons were the supersonic “Palestine 2” missile, which shook Tel Aviv, and the “Jaffa” drones, which also reached the occupation’s capital after traveling more than two thousand kilometers, not to mention the “Samad 4” drones that reached Eilat and other types of cruise missiles that shook Ashkelon and even the Golan.
Regarding the recent Yemeni attacks, which have escalated in intensity, data suggests they are part of the initial maneuvers for a potential launch of a sixth phase of operations that could be more fierce, destructive, and long-range. These new operations still possess the same previous capabilities and have not seen the introduction of new weapons that Yemeni forces are preparing to unveil, the most prominent of which is the one they recently announced and known as the “Qari’ah Submarine.”
As the second year enters, Yemen is preparing the stage for a new phase of support
