Yemen revealed its stance on the US decision to withdraw the aircraft carrier “Lincoln” and resume diplomatic communications on Tuesday.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Hussein Al-Azzi, former Deputy Foreign Minister, described the withdrawal of the Lincoln from the Arabian Sea as a “good step.”
Al-Azzi pointed out that the cessation of Yemeni operations remains linked to halting the aggression on Gaza and Lebanon, in addition to ending all forms of aggression against Yemen, ceasing interference in its affairs, not to mention fully respecting Sana’a.
He considered these steps as the first valve for sustainable security.
Al-Azzi’s tweet came after American confirmation the tow of the “Lincoln,” which Yemen had announced it had targeted a few days ago, to an American base in the Indian Ocean, coinciding with talks of a new round by the US envoy to Yemen, Tim Lenderking, carrying a new offer regarding the most important oil provinces in northern Yemen.
The timing of the tweet indicates Yemen’s setting of new red lines while achieving achievements in the naval battle against the Israeli occupation and its allies, led by America.
Yemen comments on the tow of “Lincoln” and pre-empts the Lenderking tour with 5 conditions to calm down
