The US disclosed reveals its post-“defeat” plan in Yemen.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

American diplomatic sources indicated that Washington is discussing with Saudi Arabia the deployment of forces on the borders and the installation of “Patriot” defense systems.

The sources pointed out that America is solely aiming to provide logistical and cyber support to the factions loyal to with the coalition in Yemen.

The revelation of this move came days after a tour by the commander of the US Central Command, General Michael Kurilla, to Saudi Arabia, where he met with the Saudi Chief of Staff and the Chief of Staff of the Yemeni factions loyal to Saudi Arabia.

The American announcement coincided with new statements from the US envoy to Yemen, who also engaged in a diplomatic tour in the region.

The US envoy stated that Washington is currently not looking for a military solution in Yemen, affirming that American forces have reached a deadlock with the Houthis and that there is no path to victory.

The remarks of the US envoy were interpreted as a signal to the factions loyal to the coalition to escalate.

It remains unclear from the American move whether the objective is to utilize the Saudi borders, which extend to Sa’ada province, the most prominent stronghold of the leader of the Ansar Allah movement, Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, as part of efforts to use it as an advanced base for escalation in Yemen or as part of efforts to provide assurances to Saudi Arabia as it seeks to conclude a deal with Sana’a.

The Yemeni file is witnessing intensified American and Saudi efforts as Washington attempts to slow down the Saudi course aimed at extricating itself from the quagmire before Trump’s return, while America fears that this path may lead to the loss of the most important pressure cards to stop the Yemeni operations against the Israeli occupation.
