As Israel’s genocidal war on northern Gaza continues, the health ministry in the Strip warned Tuesday that 60 wounded in an Indonesian hospital are at risk of death.
The ministry said in a statement that “60 wounded in the Indonesian hospital in the northern Gaza Strip face the risk of death, due to severe shortages of food and water, amid the worsening humanitarian situation in the region, due to the siege and the continuous aggression by the occupation forces.”
“The humanitarian situation inside the hospital has become extremely dangerous, as the wounded suffer from a lack of basic needs to complete their treatment, which increases their suffering and threatens their lives under the current harsh conditions,” the ministry explained.
The ministry appealed to “all concerned parties and humanitarian and international organizations to intervene urgently and immediately to provide the necessary assistance to save the lives of patients,” pointing out that “the wounded rely mainly on external support to meet their health and living needs.”
