The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that at least 33 people, including children, were killed and more than 50 wounded, mostly children, women and the elderly, in an Israeli aerial bombardment of the post office building housing displaced people and a number of homes in Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian news agency reported that Israeli warplanes carried out a series of raids on a building and houses in the Nuseirat camp.
Search and rescue operations are ongoing for missing people under the houses and the old post office.
