After 14 months of displacement, continuous bombardment, and the genocidal war waged by the Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip, a recent scientific study revealed that many manifestations of psychological suffering among Gazan children are exposed.
The study found shocking findings on children’s mental health, including:
• 96% of children feel that death is imminent due to the continuous shelling of their homes.
• 92% of children do not accept the reality they have been living in the Gaza Strip since the start of the war.
• 79% of children suffer from nightmares in their sleep.
