Major U.S. medical organizations, magazines and lobbyists have neglected their duty to take a stand against potential medical war crimes in Gaza, despite the massive documentation of potential genocide and documented atrocities.

In a joint report by Mansoor Malik, Rafi Chandra and Gary S. Belkin – Recent Israeli measures, such as banning the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) and withholding aid from northern Gaza, have increased the feeling that Israel is carrying out a policy of starvation and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, against the backdrop of the killing of some 44,000 civilians – two-thirds of them women and children – nearly a thousand health workers, and the near-total destruction of Gaza’s healthcare infrastructure.

Even the U.S. government, which provides unconditional support to Israel, has had to demand that Israel prove that it is not deliberately causing famine, he said, noting that the scale of Israeli atrocities in Gaza is appalling, and that reports by 65 American volunteer health care workers in Gaza documented the shooting of children in the head and chest by Israeli snipers.
