The Yemeni forces carried out, on Monday, further operations against the Israeli occupation, following the announcement by America of deploying new battleships near its coasts, including an aircraft carrier.

The Israeli occupation confirmed that it was subjected to an attack by drones and missiles coming from Yemen.

Hebrew media outlets quoted a spokesman for the occupation army as claiming to have intercepted a ballistic missile hours after announcing the interception of a drone that came across the Mediterranean.

The missile and the drone are part of a large-scale attack alluded to by a member of the Supreme Political Council in Sana’a, Mohammad Al-Houthi, in a tweet with interrupted letters, interpreted as a barrage of missiles and drones.

Although the Yemeni forces have been carrying out ground and naval attacks since last November, the pace of which has escalated since the Lebanon agreement, the timing of the latest attack carried a message of response to America, according to experts.

The latest attack came hours after the US Central Command announced the redeployment of a new aircraft carrier near the Red Sea.

The new carrier, according to the US statement, is the “USS Harry Truman,” accompanied by two battleships.

The attack may also target those battleships that have resumed their activities after months of suspension due to the Yemeni forces’ targeting of aircraft carriers, the most prominent of which are Eisenhower and Lincoln.

These developments come as Sana’a confirms its rejection of the US-British offer, amid attempts to pressure it militarily and diplomatically.

Hussein Al-Ezzi, the former Deputy Foreign Minister, said that the peace of the Red Sea is linked to the peace of Gaza, referring to the Yemeni condition to stop naval operations in exchange for stopping the aggression on Gaza, warning America in a tweet on his official page of any upcoming escalation, as it would grant the Yemeni forces the right to target American interests wherever they are, in reference to the bases in the Gulf.
