The Hebrew newspaper “Maariv” said that “Israel” is facing difficulty in dealing with the threat coming from Yemen, whether on the defensive or offensive side, describing last night’s targeting of “Tel Aviv” with a ballistic missile as “proving more than anything else that Israel does not know how to face Yemen.”

The newspaper confirmed that “Israel” has failed and is unable to deal with the challenge of the Houthis from Yemen, noting that it is “dragging its feet weakly in its response to this threat.”

It mentioned that the Yemenis have been “causing serious damage to the regional economy in general, and the Israeli economy in particular, for more than a year. The closure of maritime freedom in the Arabian Sea by the Houthis is an event that has previously pushed Israel in the past to wage the Six-Day War.”

Maariv reported that the Yemenis have launched “201 missiles and more than 170 booby-trapped drones on Israel,” noting that the Mossad is now “trying to gather information here and there and build an intelligence picture about the Houthis.”

It described the “Israeli” raids on Yemen as “more like public relations shows with little real military effectiveness that inflict strategic damage and create a balance of terror or some deterrence,” indicating that they do not have a target bank and are ignorant of Yemeni geography.

The Hebrew newspaper pointed out that with the launch of Yemeni missiles, two million citizens, some of them from the residents of “Tel Aviv,” rushed to the shelters, noting that “improvements in ballistic missiles make them overcome the “Hetz” missiles of the Israeli Air Force industry.”

It confirmed that “the Israeli air defense project has received four consecutive “failed” evaluations in successfully intercepting ballistic missiles, three times from Yemen and once from Lebanon.”
