The French newspaper “Le Monde” confirmed that more than 12,000 patients and wounded in the Gaza Strip, according to World Health Organization figures, are at risk of death due to the inability to evacuate medically, as the number of evacuations has decreased significantly since May, when the Israeli army seized the Rafah crossing in the southern Gaza Strip.
Health institutions in Gaza, which have been under Israeli attack for more than 14 months, have collapsed, with the besieged enclave lacking food, medicine and medical equipment.
