Palestinian Health: Patients in Gaza hospitals threatened with death from Israeli bullets or lack of medicines

The Palestinian Ministry of Health issued a statement appealing to the international community to bring aid, medicines and food to Kamal Adwan Hospital in the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a press statement that shooting continues around the clock in the vicinity of the hospital, while Israeli shells fell on the third floor and at the gates of the hospital, causing panic for patients and medical staff. The Palestinian Ministry of Health indicated that the hospital is in dire need of the necessary maintenance supplies to maintain the continued provision of electricity, water and oxygen, in light of the significant shortage of medicines and painkillers.

The ministry pointed out that Israel violates the most basic rules of international law and international humanitarian law, by targeting medical and health centers, and by not allowing it to rescue and rescue those inside.

The ministry added that patients at Kamal Adwan Hospital and other health centers and hospitals operating in the Gaza Strip are threatened with death either by Israeli bullets or by lack of medicines and treatments.
