Five journalists among dead in Israeli raids on Gaza Strip

Five journalists were killed among others killed and wounded in Israeli raids that targeted various areas of the Gaza Strip early Thursday morning.

The Palestinian channel “Al-Quds Al-Youm” announced that five of its journalists were killed, at dawn on Thursday, in an Israeli air strike that targeted the channel’s external broadcasting vehicle, in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Eyewitnesses said that a missile fired by an Israeli aircraft directly hit the external broadcasting vehicle, which was parked in front of the “return” hospital in Nuseirat camp, killing the crew and burning the car to the ground.

According to Palestinian media and local reporters, the car had a logo showing it was a media vehicle and was used by journalists to cover developments from inside the hospital and Nuseirat camp.
