Today, Saturday, the Sana’a forces announced the execution of a joint military operation that targeted the American aircraft carrier “USS Harry Truman” and several of its affiliated warships with a number of winged missiles and drones.

The official spokesman for the Sana’a forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, said in a statement today, Saturday, that “the missile force and the drone air force in the Yemeni forces carried out a joint military operation that targeted the American aircraft carrier ‘USS Harry Truman’ and a number of its affiliated warships in the northern Red Sea area with a number of winged missiles and drones.”

According to Brigadier General Saree, “The engagement operation with the carrier and its affiliated ships lasted for 9 hours, and this targeting of the carrier is the fifth since its arrival in the Red Sea.”

In the statement, Brigadier General Saree said that the operation achieved its objectives successfully and “forced the aircraft carrier to leave the theater of operations and flee to the northernmost part of the Red Sea.”

The statement of the Yemeni Armed Forces emphasized their high readiness to confront any American or Israeli escalation on the country and reiterated the continuation of their duties towards the wronged Palestinian people and that their operations will not stop until the aggression is stopped and the siege on the Gaza Strip is lifted.
