Several areas in the Gaza Strip witnessed widespread popular celebrations after confirming the signing of a ceasefire agreement between the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and the occupation entity, ending the ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip for more than 15 months.

Follow-ups – AlKhabar Alyemeni:

The streets of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip and Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip were filled with joy as news broke that a ceasefire agreement and an exchange deal were imminent.

Revelers chanted “We are the sons of Mohammed Deif,” referring to the commander-in-chief of the Martyr Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement.

The occupation army launched a number of air raids and blew up a number of houses in Jabalia, while the raids led to the martyrdom of 5 civilians and injured others when the occupation targeted a residential block in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in the northern Gaza Strip.

Since October 7, 2023, the occupation cabal has been committing a genocide in Gaza with American support, which left about 157,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.
