The American aircraft carrier “Truman” has moved 1,021 kilometers of the coasts of Yemen, stationed in the northernmost part of the Red Sea, according to satellite images published by the Landsat 8-9 L1 website yesterday, Monday.

The revelation of the withdrawal comes a day after the Yemeni forces in Sana’a announced a joint Yemeni attack operation by the Air Force and Navy, which targeted the American aircraft carrier.

The spokesman for the Yemeni army in Sana’a, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, had announced on the previous Sunday that this withdrawal came as a result of a joint military operation carried out by the Yemeni armed forces, which targeted the “Truman” carrier and a number of accompanying warships north of the Red Sea using drones and winged missiles.

He indicated that this operation is the eighth of its kind against the carrier since its arrival in the region, and it achieved its objectives successfully, forcing “Truman” to leave the theater of operations.

Saree explained that this operation comes within the clear warnings to the hostile forces against any aggression on Yemen during the ceasefire period in Gaza, stressing that the Yemeni armed forces will not hesitate to respond with qualitative operations that exceed any red lines.

This development reflects the escalation of Yemeni military capabilities and their direct impact on the movements of American forces, which puts further pressure on the American strategy in the region, especially with the arrival of the elected US President Donald Trump to the White House, who confirmed in his inauguration speech on Monday that he will stop the wars and make the American forces focus on protecting the borders of America and will not make them lose their efforts and equipment to fight foreign wars on behalf of others.
