Gaza – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The Euro-Mediterranean for Human Rights Monitor issued a scathing report warning of the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, accusing the Israeli occupation of imposing disastrous living conditions on the Palestinians.
The Observatory documented the martyrdom of at least 110 Palestinians since the last ceasefire in Gaza, at a rate of nearly 6 civilians per day, in addition to the injury of 901 others.
The report indicated that thousands of patients and injured people in Gaza are threatened with death due to their continued deprivation of travel to receive treatment outside the Strip.
The Observatory affirmed that the siege imposed on Gaza prevents the arrival of essential medicines and medical supplies, exacerbating the suffering of patients suffering from chronic diseases and serious injuries.
The Observatory described the Israeli policies as “perpetuating the crime of genocide,” calling on the international community to act urgently to save the Palestinians from the plans of “slow killing and forced displacement.”
The report confirmed that the continuation of these policies constitutes a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian law and calls for urgent international intervention to stop these violations.
The Euro-Mediterranean Monitor called on countries and international organizations to assume their moral and legal responsibilities and to put pressure on Israel to end the Gaza siege and ensure that humanitarian aid reaches the population in need.
