In a new scene in which the Israeli occupation publicly documents its crimes against Gaza’s hospitals, doctors and detainees, the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, Dr. Hossam Abu Safiya, appeared from inside his detention in a report to the Hebrew media, for the first time since his arrest, during the war of extermination launched by Israel on Gaza.
In a short video, Abu Safiya appeared handcuffed and taken away by members of the Israeli Prisons Authority.
Abu Safiya appeared physically exhausted and unable to walk.
On December 27, 2024, Abu Safiya was arrested by the Israeli occupation army while he was working at Kamal Adwan Hospital, during the military operation in the northern Gaza Strip.
The occupation prevented Abu Safiya from visiting the lawyer for 47 days and refused to give any information about him.
