The conference, “Naming Genocide: Global Responsibility towards Gaza,” organized by the Palestinian Return Center, kicked off in London this morning, Saturday, with the aim of developing practical strategies for global responsibility towards Gaza and turning them into action, according to the organizers.
A group of experts, human rights defenders, academics, journalists, and doctors who served in the Gaza Strip spoke at the conference and discussed critical issues related to Gaza, with the attendance of nearly two hundred participants who are active in advocacy campaigns with the Palestinian people in the United Kingdom.
The conference organizers seek to create a forum that brings together many intellectuals and activists with the aim of “translating analysis into action” within a legal framework and accountability for the genocide in Gaza in relation to international law, the media, and global solidarity.
