Defense Minister: We are ready to engage in the battle to defend the homeland and support Gaza

The Minister of Defense in the Sana’a government, Major General Mohammed Nasser Al-Atifi, announced on Monday that the Sana’a forces, with all their formations, including the missile force, the drone air force, and the naval forces, are fully prepared to carry out their national, regional, and Islamic tasks within the framework of supporting the Palestinian cause and confronting the new American escalation.

Follow ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Al-Atifi, in a press statement, affirmed that the Sana’a forces are ready to tighten the naval blockade on the ships of the Israeli enemy entity in the Red Sea, the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait, the Gulf of Aden, and the Arabian Sea, in implementation of the directives of the leader of Ansar Allah, Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, and this is after the expiration of the deadline granted to the Israeli enemy to lift its siege on Gaza and allow the arrival of humanitarian aid.

He explained that the intelligence services have identified accurate databases on the targeted Israeli ships in the upcoming operations, ensuring the implementation of effective naval military operations to force the occupation and those who support it to succumb to international resolutions and lift the siege on Gaza.

The defense minister pointed out that Sana’a had previously warned that the continuation of the Israeli siege on Gaza would be met with a similar escalation and that the Sana’a forces will not hesitate to target any party that provides protection for the Israeli navigation.

Al-Atifi added that the military capabilities of the Sana’a forces have become capable of waging long-term naval battles with advanced methods that will surprise the enemies, stressing that Sana’a will not stand as a spectator in the face of the Israeli crimes that have exceeded all limits.

He also stressed that the operations carried out by the Sana’a forces do not target international navigation but are limited to ships associated with the Israeli enemy entity, in response to its continued violations of the ceasefire in Gaza, noting that the naval blockade has officially entered into force.

The defense minister concluded his statements by affirming that the Sana’a forces will not hesitate to escalate the confrontation against the Israeli occupation, threatening to strike all strategic targets if the aggression and siege on the Palestinian people continue.
