On Monday, the US sent strategic bombers to the Middle East, amid indications of a decline in its aggressive campaign against Yemen and a new military failure that threatens a resounding defeat.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The American NBC News network quoted sources as saying that the US administration ordered the movement of several strategic bombers from one of the American bases in Britain, noting that they are heading towards the Middle East.
The sources hinted at the Trump administration’s efforts to use them in the current confrontations with Yemen.
Although the US had previously used these bombers during the past months of confrontations with Yemen, the timing of their redeployment reveals a new American dilemma facing the American forces, which launched a broad aggression against Yemen at the beginning of the week but didn’t achieve any objectives.
One of the most prominent of these complications was what the US National Security Advisor, Mike Waltz, revealed about Yemen’s introduction of advanced air defense systems, confirming during a television interview that what he described as the “Houthis” possess advanced missiles and drones that were able to fly over the aircraft carrier, apparently referring to the recent attacks.
In the same context, the US Central Command revealed a change in the status of the American aircraft carrier “Truman” stationed in the Red Sea.
The American command released a video at dawn today showing the take-off of interceptor aircraft from the “Truman.”
The constantly taking off aircraft are the FA-18 Hornet type that the American forces have dedicated to intercepting missiles and drones that the air defenses fail to intercept.
The video confirms that the mission of the aircraft carrier, which was sent to launch an aggression against Yemen, has turned defensive, especially with the Yemeni forces announcing the launch of the second largest attack against it within hours.
Strategic bombers have the ability to fly for longer ranges and higher altitudes, which prevents them from being targeted by conventional defense systems, but their impact in the battle seems greatly diminished due to the small number of bombs they carry, in addition to their need for frequent refueling and ammunition and their need for larger bases than an aircraft carrier.
