The American forces admitted, on Sunday, the ferocity of the battles in Yemen, following the announcement by the Yemeni forces of a new attack on the American battleships in the Red Sea.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The US Central Command published short video clips of nighttime and daytime confrontations.
The clips include the launch of F/A-18 aircraft to intercept drones and ballistic missiles.
The American command attached the clips with the phrase on its official social media pages, “24 hours a day,” in reference to the uninterrupted Yemeni attacks.
The publication of the clips came just hours after a statement by the spokesman for the Yemeni forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree.
Saree confirmed a Yemeni attack that lasted for hours against the American aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman and its accompanying battleships.
The attack is one of a series of attacks that have exceeded 5 since the return of Truman to the Red Sea last week.
The US had confirmed the request of the “Truman” fleet crew to leave the Red Sea.
American media quoted the US Secretary of Defense as saying that he had requested a one-month grace period for the crew to deploy another aircraft carrier, “Carl Vinson.”
