The toll of journalist martyrs who were killed by the fire of the “Israeli” occupation in the Gaza Strip has risen to 208 journalists since October 7, 2023.
Gaza – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Media sources reported that an unmanned aerial vehicle belonging to the occupation directly targeted a car driven by Husam Shbat, a correspondent for Al Jazeera Live, resulting in his immediate martyrdom, while the occupation’s fire also killed journalist Muhammad Mansour in a direct targeting.
The Government Media Office in the Strip condemned “in the strongest terms the targeting, killing, and assassination of Palestinian journalists by the Israeli occupation,” calling on the International Federation of Journalists, the Federation of Arab Journalists, and all journalistic entities in the countries of the world to condemn these systematic crimes against Palestinian journalists and media professionals in the Gaza Strip.
It held “the occupation, the American administration, and the countries participating in the crime of genocide, such as Britain, Germany, and France, fully responsible for committing this heinous barbarism,” according to the statement.
The “Israeli” occupation is seeking to directly target journalists in an attempt to conceal its massacres.
