With the closure of the Red Sea… Monitoring the first American air sorties from the Indian Ocean

The pro-coalition factions in northern Yemen confirmed on Thursday the start of American forces conducting air sorties from the Indian Ocean, coinciding with Yemen’s confirmation of closing the Red Sea to them.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Rashed Marouf, an officer in the moral guidance of what is known as the Fifth Region affiliated with the coalition on the Saudi border, reported the sighting of American aircraft flying over the city of Marib, coming from the direction of the Indian Ocean and on their route to target the Yemeni capital, Sana’a.

The American forces had deployed new bombers at their secret base on the island of “Diego Garcia.”
The US forces’ use of the island came as Yemeni attacks on the US aircraft carrier fleet stationed in the Red Sea intensified, and the US forces were using it as a forward attack line in their aggression against Yemen.

The official spokesman for the Yemeni forces said in a press briefing today that the Yemeni forces prevented an attempted advance of the American battleships towards the southern Red Sea and foiled attempts for a wide-scale attack on Yemen.

The use of the Indian Ocean confirms that the American forces no longer rely on the Red Sea in their war on Yemen, given the fierce confrontations there, amid fears of sinking the battleships.

America’s escape towards the Indian Ocean confirms the success of the Yemeni forces in changing the balance of the confrontation in their favor, as the attack from the Indian Ocean is costly and unproductive for the American forces.
