Yesterday, the Government Media Office in Gaza, in a statement, affirmed that the Israeli occupation continues to implement a policy of genocide against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, deliberately targeting civilians and infrastructure, in flagrant violation of international laws.

The statement explained that the number of martyrs and missing persons has exceeded 61,000, including more than 50,300 who reached hospitals, of which 30,000 are children and women, while 7,200 Palestinian families were completely exterminated.
It pointed out that the occupation is using the policy of starvation as a tool of war, through closing the crossings, preventing the entry of aid and fuel, and targeting relief distribution centers and bakeries, which has exacerbated the humanitarian crisis and the spread of hunger among civilians.
The Office added that the occupation has escalated its attacks on medical and civil defense personnel, where 1,402 medical workers and 111 rescue workers were martyred, while 34 hospitals and more than 240 health centers were bombed and destroyed, leading to a near-total collapse of the health system.
Furthermore, more than 1,000 mosques and three churches have been destroyed, as well as 500 educational institutions, in a clear targeting of places of worship and education.
The statement indicated that the occupation and the American administration, along with supporting countries such as Britain, Germany, and France, bear full responsibility for these crimes, which amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity, calling on the international community to take urgent action to stop the aggression and hold the occupation accountable before international courts.
