Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor: The destruction of Alahli Arab Hospital is a crime that aims to eliminate all aspects of life in Gaza

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor (Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor, an independent Geneva-based organization) said on Sunday that the deliberate destruction carried out by the Israeli occupation army against Alahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City “reflects Israel’s insistence on completely and directly dismantling the means of life in the Strip, as part of a clear process of eliminating all elements of survival.”

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor added in a press release that “this escalation represents a dangerous stage in a systematic strategy to eliminate places of last resort for Palestinian civilians, including the sick and wounded, who are supposed to be protected under all circumstances, and medical personnel working in catastrophic conditions to save whatever lives can be saved.”

It emphasized that “Israel’s claim that the hospital was being used militarily is nothing more than a memorized text that it repeatedly repeats to justify its crimes of killing and systematic destruction after they have occurred.”
