Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The American magazine Newsweek confirmed today, Monday, that Yemen continues to defy the American attacks by continuing its military operations against “Israel” and banning Israeli navigation in the Red Sea, noting that the intense airstrikes launched by Washington have not weakened the capabilities of the Yemeni armed forces or deterred them from continuing their operations.
The magazine explained that the reports that spoke of massive damage due to the American bombing were not translated into clear signs of decline on the ground, as the Yemeni armed forces continue to carry out missile attacks on sites deep within the occupied Palestine and keep the sea lanes under their fire.
In this context, Emily Melleken, the Assistant Director of Media and Communications at the Atlantic Council’s N7 Initiative, acknowledged that the operations against Yemen reveal the failure of the American military approach to achieving the declared objectives, saying, “The Trump administration must realize that the military solution alone will not achieve the complete annihilation that Washington is seeking,” as she put it.
Melleken also stressed that the “Ansar Allah” group has proven its ability to withstand and adapt to changes, noting its deep popular influence in the country, which reinforces the continuation of operations despite the losses and the daily American raids.
These statements come as the Yemeni armed forces have resumed their operations following the renewal of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip last March, despite the continuing American bombardment that targets several Yemeni governorates, resulting in dozens of martyrs and wounded.
The new data reveals the extent of the American predicament in the Red Sea, where Washington, despite billions of dollars in military spending, has failed to curb Yemen, which has become one of the most prominent actors in the equation of regional deterrence.
The insistence of the Yemeni armed forces to target “Israel” and its maritime interests, in the midst of direct American aggression, represents a turning point in the nature of the conflict and confirms Sana’a’s transition from the stage of “limited defense” to “strategic offensive” within the equation of supporting the resistance in Palestine.
It also clearly appears that the American approach, based on decisive action by fire, has not been effective and, on the contrary, has contributed to enhancing the popularity of Ansar Allah internally, regionally, and internationally and has consolidated Washington’s failure to contain the “Yemeni threat,” which is no longer confined to the local geography but has become effective at the level of global maritime security.
