The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Tuesday that 1,400 medical personnel were martyred during the US-backed Israeli massacre of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
The ministry said in a statement posted on Telegram: “More than 1,400 health workers have been martyred, while approximately 360 health sector workers remain in detention (in Israeli prisons).”
Since the beginning of the Israeli massacre on October 7, 2023, Israel has targeted most hospitals and health centers in the Gaza Strip, systematically destroying the medical system and depriving thousands of wounded and sick Palestinians of care.
