UNRWA: More than two million and one hundred thousand Palestinians are besieged and suffering from hunger

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) issued a new warning about the danger of famine in the Gaza Strip as a result of the deterioration of the humanitarian situation, confirming that more than 2.1 million Palestinians are besieged, exposed to bombardment, and suffering from hunger and lack of food.

Gaza – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The agency said in a brief statement this morning that the stocks that entered the Strip during the ceasefire period have been completely depleted, exacerbating the humanitarian disaster amid the continued siege and bombardment.

UNRWA reiterated its call on the international community to take immediate action to secure safe humanitarian corridors and provide food and basic assistance, warning that the situation in Gaza is heading towards an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe if intervention is not made immediately.
