As the occupation continues its bombing and blockade, the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip continues to deteriorate. Today, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) stated that the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is beyond imagination.
UNRWA added in a statement on the X platform that with the comprehensive blockade on Gaza entering its ninth week, concerted international efforts are necessary to prevent this humanitarian catastrophe from reaching an unprecedented level.
The UN agency reiterated its call for an immediate ceasefire.
UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini warned in a post on X that the Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip will silently kill more children and women every day, in addition to those already killed by the bombing.
