The Palestinian Ministry of Health condemned the heinous crime committed by the occupation forces against patients and the wounded, by directly targeting the surgical building at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, which resulted in the deaths of two patients and the injury of others while receiving treatment, in addition to medical personnel.
The ministry said in a statement: “The repeated targeting of hospitals and the pursuit and killing of wounded people inside treatment rooms confirms the occupation’s deliberate intent to inflict greater damage to the health care system and threaten the treatment of the wounded and sick, even on hospital beds.”
Two Palestinian citizens, including Palestinian journalist Hassan Islayh, were killed in an Israeli attack on the surgical building at Nasser Medical Complex west of Khan Yunis.
For its part, the Government Media Office announced that the number of journalist martyrs has risen to 215 with the martyrdom of journalist Hassan Islayh, since the beginning of the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.
