Indonesian hospital shuts down after its generators were targeted

The Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed on Tuesday that the Indonesian Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip had been completely cut off from power after the Israeli occupation forces targeted its generators.

In a press statement, the ministry explained that the targeting of the generators had completely shut down the Indonesian Hospital, warning that the destruction of generators in hospitals represents a devastating blow to the backbone of the health service and threatens to completely shut down vital health facilities in the Strip.

The ministry stressed that it views with extreme seriousness what it described as the systematic measures taken by the occupation against hospitals, warning of catastrophic humanitarian consequences if the targeting of Gaza’s health sector infrastructure continues.
