The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that 49 people have been killed by Israeli occupation forces since dawn today, according to Palestinian media.
The Humanitarian Country Team in the occupied Palestinian territory said that Israeli authorities have undermined its ability to provide “real, principled humanitarian assistance that reaches the most vulnerable,” warning that the window of opportunity “to prevent famine is rapidly closing.”
In a press release, the UN team warned that the humanitarian situation in the Strip has reached its peak 600 days after the outbreak of the war, as deadly bombardment and mass displacement continue unabated, “and families are being starved and deprived of the basic necessities of life.”
