Guterres: It is unacceptable that people in Gaza are being killed for food

UN Secretary-General António Guterres condemned on Tuesday the shooting near an aid distribution center in the southern Gaza Strip, which left 27 people dead, according to the International Committee of the Red Cross, according to his spokesperson.

“It is unacceptable that civilians lose their lives simply because they were seeking food,” Stéphane Dujarric told reporters, reiterating the call for an independent investigation into the incident.
