The Director of Ambulance and Emergency Services in North Gaza, Faris Afana, confirmed that the occupation’s targeting is ongoing in most areas of the besieged Palestinian sector. Regarding the latest developments in the northern sector, Afana told Al Jazeera Mubasher that the area is experiencing a humanitarian disaster as only three hospitals are operating partially amid the continuous strikes by the occupation. He explained that 80% of the health sector’s capabilities have been completely destroyed by the occupation. The Director of Ambulance and Emergency Services in North Gaza added that there is not enough fuel for the ambulances to operate. Afana called on the World Health Organization and the Red Cross to exert pressure to allow the entry of fuel and spare parts for ambulances. He confirmed that the occupation is systematically targeting the health sector, ambulances, and their crews.
