The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that the Israeli occupation forces killed 800 starving people in the Gaza Strip after they were shot while trying to obtain a small amount of food.
UNRWA confirmed in a brief statement on its X platform page on Saturday that “an effective system has been replaced by a deadly scam aimed at forcing people to flee and deepening the policy of collective punishment against Palestinians in Gaza.”
The UN agency warned that “the lack of clean water in the Gaza Strip, coupled with overcrowded shelters and soaring temperatures, could lead to dire health consequences.”
It concluded by saying, “The blockade must be lifted and we must be allowed to resume delivering humanitarian aid, including hygiene supplies, to Gaza.”
